Dhammayatra Bodhigaya, following the footsteps of the noble monks of the Mekong River Basin From the last policy ofReverend Professor Dr. Phra Maha Phong Samalik The former chairman of the Buddhist Organization Center Lao Relations, before he passed away at the age of 100, gave it to Dr. Supachai Virapuchong, Secretary-General of Bodhigaya Institute 980 to continue working hard in the way of Suvarnabhumi Buddhism. Therefore, it is the guideline for Bodhigaya 980 Institute, Bodhigaya Club 980, Virapuchong Foundation, along with network partners from 5 countries to join hands in organizing the 1st Bodhigaya Dhammayatra under the name “5 Lands Dhammayatra, Following the Footsteps of the Noble Monks of the Mekong River Basin” by leading Buddhists from 5 countries, totaling more than 200 monks/people, on the Dhammayatra from Ubon Ratchathani Province to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the Kingdom of Cambodia, and on to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and back to the Kingdom of Thailand. The event was attended by tens of thousands of people, bringing joy and happiness to Buddhists from all 5 countries.
