Project to promote Thai monks to study and practice Dhamma in depth in the land of Buddha, India - Nepal, 2nd generation

The success of the first training session was used to develop the Buddhist Studies curriculum by increasing the focus on tangible results, organizing the training process to link and lead to more clearly evident results. The executives of the Buddhist Studies curriculum therefore set the research topic for the second session as “Dhammavijaya from the Land of Buddhahood” and assigned the Sangha leaders who participated in the project to research during the training and the three-month Buddhist Lent by studying the principles of Dhamma from the Tripitaka and conducting practical studies in the area where Buddhism originated. This was to analyze and conduct in-depth research on the topic of “Dhammavijaya from the Land of Buddhahood” to obtain crystallized knowledge that could be brought back as teachings that are connected to the social problems that have occurred. The teachings from Buddhism must be considered and extracted until they are rooted in building the faith and wisdom of the Buddhist community in a practical and effective way by collecting the methods of thinking through Vipassana and presenting the principles of Dhamma that are beneficial for caring for and increasing faith, intention, wisdom, and right view in the minds of Thai people through a book summarizing the results of the project called “Dhammavijaya from the Land of Buddhahood”.

Hindu novice mass ordination project

A collaborative project between BodhigayaVijjalaya 980 Institute and Thai Temple Lumpini, which provides an opportunity for Hindu youth to receive scholarships to ordain and study Dhamma and Vinaya, to create faith in Hindus and to realize the true and excellent principles of the teachings of the Lord Buddha that Buddhists adhere to and use as a guideline in their lives. Dr. Supachai Veeraputchong, Secretary-General of BodhigayaVijjalaya 980 Institute, saw the necessity to support Hindu youth in Nepal to have the opportunity to access the Dhamma and Vinaya teachings of the Lord Buddha as well as himself. The spark of determination to revive Buddhism to flourish in the land of Buddha was born and became the origin of the project that BodhigayaVijjalaya 980 Institute supported the mass ordination project of Hindu novices of Thai Temple Lumpini.
