The 4th SAMVAD Conference, under the theme “The Asian Century of Dhamma-Dharma”, is being held for the first time in Thailand. This event highlights the significant role of the Asian region as a leader in the new global era. It aims to integrate ancient teachings and philosophies of Dhamma-Dharma as guiding principles in building a world founded on humanitarianism, compassion, and sustainability for the future. The conference also emphasizes its apolitical nature.

Dhamma Century Cup

การแข่งขันฟุตบอลในวันนี้เพื่อฉลองโอกาสครบรอบ 75 ปีสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศกัมพูชา สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของทั้ง 2 ประเทศในการเสริมสร้างมิตรภาพให้แน่นแฟ้นระหว่างกันมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งนี้ ฟุตบอลเป็นกีฬาที่ประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศชื่นชอบ เป็นสื่อกลางที่รัฐบาลไทยตั้งใจร่วมมืออย่างใกล้ชิดกับรัฐบาลกัมพูชาผนึกกำลังของภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และประชาชนทั้ง 2 ประเทศรวมเป็นทีมเดียวกัน เพื่อสนับสนุนให้เกิดความสงบสุข ความเจริญรุ่งเรือง ความกินดีอยู่ดีของประชาชนไทยและกัมพูชา โดยมีหลักธรรม สามัคคีธรรม ของพระพุทธเจ้าเป็นจุดนำทาง ส่วนตนคิดว่าเป้าหมายของสถาบันโพธิคยาวิชาลัย 980 ที่สนับสนุนรัฐบาลไทยและรัฐบาลกัมพูชาจัดงานสำคัญในวันนี้จะนำมาซึ่งความใกล้ชิดระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง กลุ่มเยาวชนรุ่นใหม่
