Research on the influence of beliefs about Naga related to Buddhism in the Mekong River Basin Since throughout the journey of the 5-country Dhammayatra, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam, it was found that every temple had stories and Naga statues. Therefore, it made us think of collecting the correct knowledge about Naga to cover all aspects in order to find the connection of Naga to protect Buddhism and to understand the beliefs about Naga correctly. Therefore, the institute supports the research study on “The influence of beliefs about Naga related to Buddhism in the Mekong River Basin”, which has a team of researchers who are highly qualified from studying Pali Dhamma of the Thai Sangha and are experts in Buddhism from the Faculty of Buddhism, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, led by Phra Thep Methee Worayanan, P.D.9, Asst.
